Our Projects
“There comes a point where we need to just stop pulling people out of the river; we need to go upstream, and find out why they are falling in” Rev Desmond Tutu
We create independence and not dependence, monitor progress and offer mentoring support

Lioness Childrens Library Project
A well-resourced and flourishing school library can make a significant impact on educational system for children aged 5-16 years old in the rural areas of Freetown. With only five public functioning libraries in the entire country of Sierra Leone, this project aims to help government-funded schools start, manage, and sustain their own library. By providing access to books and resources, we can strengthen the educational system and empower the next generation.
02
School Uniform Project
In addition to the library project, we also initiated a uniform project to address the issue of children dropping of school due to the inability of their parents afford uniforms. In 2023, we were able to sponsor school uniforms and we plan to continue this project on an annual basis.

03
Send a Youth to University
We are thrilled to announce that we have sponsored a youth to study International Relations at the Milton Margai Technical University in Sierra Leone. Our aim of providing education to the youth has been fulfilled, and we hope that this will contribute towards reducing poverty, crime, and health and economic inequalities in the region. We strongly believe that education is a safety net, and we are confident that this will help the youth achieve their dreams of working with NGOs after completing their diploma.

Lioness Women Empowering Project
We are excited about running these project. Empowering someone brings out their hidden skills and talents and it is great opportunity for them to shine, grow, develop and become confident. It is about teaching life skills but in a different way, their way not our way. It is about creating independence and not dependence, monitoring progress and providing mentoring support.
